Everyone loves charcoal soap. I wanted this one to be a nod to my (father’s) Korean heritage, so I used astringent and nourishing ingredients found in Asia (including Bamboo Charcoal and Green Tea Seed Oil) combined with facial care powerhouse essential oils like Frankincense and Tea Tree. Life on earth would not be possible without Carbon, and I would not have been possible without my father. -The Alkimist

- Plastic-free & zero waste: All of our soaps are packaged using recyclable, compostable containers or paper wrapping.
- Organic & Natural: Our soaps are all made using handpicked and sustainably sourced natural ingredients. Quality really matters here and we wouldn’t use something for you that we wouldn’t use ourselves. The Alkimist is very particular ;)
- Cold-processed & handmade: Our soap bars are handmade (with love) using the cold process method. They are also hand stamped. Each batch will vary naturally lending to the artisanal nature of our products.
- Palm oil free & cruelty-free: The Alkimist saw the devastation caused to humans and animals alike by the Palm Oil industry in Southeast Asia, so our products will never contain Palm Oil. We never test on animals- just other humans!
